Promo of first single from Vijay Deverakonda's 'Kingdom' to drop on THIS date

Vijay Deverakonda is all set to return to the big screen with his next film, Kingdom. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, known for Jersey, the action-thriller is now scheduled to release in theatres on May 30.

On Monday, the makers gave fans an exciting update. The promo of the film’s first single will be out on April 30. The song’s title hasn’t been revealed yet. Music for Kingdom is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Sharing the news on his IG page, Vijay Deverakonda wrote, “Ani has got me stuck on a looooop! Is a full on Viiiiibe. From the world of #Kingdom. Promo out April 30.” Along with the announcement, a new song poster was unveiled, showing Vijay and the film’s lead actress sitting on a railway station bench, hinting at a bittersweet journey.

Kingdom is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. Earlier this year, the teaser gave audiences a glimpse into the film’s intense world. It featured a voiceover by Jr NTR for the Telugu version, with Ranbir Kapoor and Suriya lending their voices for the Hindi and Tamil versions, respectively.


The film is designed as a two-part epic, rooted in folklore and packed with action. The technical crew includes cinematographers Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan, production designer Avinash Kolla, and editor Navin Nooli. A previously released 115-second promo showed scenes of war, suffering, and rebellion, leading up to the arrival of Vijay’s character — a leader ready to fight for his people at any cost. “I will do anything, sir. If needed, I will burn everything," he declares from behind bars. Adding to the excitement, Kingdom has already created history by launching the first-ever fully AI-designed thematic video for its soundtrack. Initially planned for a March 28 release, the film will now hit screens on May 30.
