    Anirudh Ravichander’s ‘Anna Antene’ highlights emotional core of Kingdom

    The second single from the much-anticipated pan-Indian action drama Kingdom dropped on Wednesday, bringing with it a wave of emotion and sibling nostalgia. Titled ‘Anna Antene’, the song beautifully captures the deep bond between two brothers, serving as a melodic ode to love, loyalty, and lifelong promises.

    In the film, Vijay Deverakonda portrays the younger brother, Suri, while Satyadev takes on the role of the protective elder sibling, Siva. The track shines a spotlight on their relationship and offers a glimpse into the emotional core of the action-packed narrative. The lyrics of Anna Antene are written by Krishna Kanth. The musical reins are in the hands of Anirudh Ravichander, who has not only composed the track but also lends his voice to it. Needless to say, this is one track that will say with you for a while.

    About Kingdom

    Kingdom is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who is best known for the critically acclaimed Jersey. Set in a fictional version of Sri Lanka under strict military control, the film tells the gripping story of Suri, a spy who rises to become a symbol of hope and resistance for the oppressed local population.

    Kingdom's teaser which has already generated significant buzz, features powerful voice-overs from top stars across languages - Jr NTR in Telugu, Ranbir Kapoor in Hindi, and Suriya in Tamil. The film stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, alongside Vijay Deverakonda and Satyadev in pivotal roles. Kingdom is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios on board as the presenter. Cinematography duties are handled by Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan, while editing is helmed by Navin Nooli. The film has been delayed multiple times and is now set for a grand pan-India theatrical release on July 31.
