Beyond praising Vijay’s on-screen presence, Anirudh Ravichander offered fans a rare glimpse into the strong personal bonds and camaraderie that fueled the film’s creation. He shared a touching moment, recalling, “Last but not the least, let me come to Rowdy boy. So I just want to share one thing about VD,” Anirudh began, referring to Deverakonda’s nickname. “Everybody knows there’s a lot of work going on in our studio, a lot of back-to-back releases and all that. So around five days back… he sent me a big message, saying, ‘I hope you are sleeping and taking rest, because that is most important.’ That shows the heart of Vijay Deverakonda. Can you please give it up for him, guys?”

The composer also highlighted Vijay Deverakonda’s commitment, revealing that the actor flew to Chennai just to spend time with the team. “We had a great time and I’m assuring you, I’ve seen the film… I generally don’t say this if I don’t like it. I watched the film. This is going to be a milestone in VD’s career, as well as in my career, in Gautam’s career, in Vamsi’s career, everybody’s career,” he added.
Kingdom promises a gripping narrative packed with stylised action, emotional depth, and a high-octane background score composed by Anirudh himself. The trailer has received widespread acclaim, and early ticket bookings have already crossed 30,000, pointing to a massive opening. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Kingdom is the first of a planned two-part saga.
Vijay Deverakonda, who plays a constable-turned-undercover agent, recently expressed his desire to take on a full-fledged police role in the future. But that’s not all—fans are also abuzz about a surprise cameo by superstar Nani, which adds another layer of excitement to this big-screen spectacle.
