Ajaneesh Lokanath, best known for his work in Kantara, had already contributed to Kattalan, including composing the track ‘Majako Mallika’ and creating the teaser’s background score. However, his sudden departure at such a late stage has raised questions, especially since the film is nearing completion and gearing up for release.
The entry of Ravi Basrur, however, brings a distinct advantage as Basrur is best known for his high-impact scores in films like KGF and Salaar and has built a reputation for crafting music that enhances scale and intensity. While it remains uncertain whether any of Ajaneesh Lokanath’s earlier work will be retained, Ravi Basrur now takes full charge of shaping the film’s musical identity.
