    Ram Charan has now put an end to the recent delay rumours around his upcoming film Peddi. The actor recently shared a major update and confirmed that the film is moving ahead as planned, with only one song left to be shot. The actor was recently seen promoting his cousin Niharika Konidela's film Raakaasaa, where he briefly spoke about Peddi and assured everyone that the project is very much on track. He revealed that the talkie portions of the film have already been completed.

    Addressing the buzz around the film’s release, Ram Charan reportedly told the team, “Promote your film well, Peddi won’t be late."

    Meanwhile, 123 Telugu that Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur may be coming together for a special song in the film. As per their reports, the shoot for the track is expected to begin next week. But there has been no official confirmation yet.

    About Peddi

    Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is being described as a rural sports drama with a strong emotional core and commercial appeal. The filmmaker had earlier made his Telugu directorial debut with the 2021 hit Uppena. The film stars Ram Charan in the lead, alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma.

    Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, Peddi is being backed in association with Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers. The music for the film has been composed by A. R. Rahman. Songs like ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ and ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa’ have contributed significantly to the film’s growing popularity. The film is all set to release on April 30, 2026.
