War 2 trailer is out now: Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani set the spyverse on fire

The wait is finally over! The much-anticipated trailer of War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, dropped just now, and fans are already going crazy seeing it. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the second installment in the War franchise promises high-octane action, intense drama, and an intense face-off between two powerhouse performers.

The trailer starts with Hritik Roshan’s commanding voiceover, who is declaring that he will give up "his work, his name, even his identity to become a shadow". Then comes Jr NTR, who's promising to "fight every battle, which no one else ever will". The trailer also features Kiara Advani in some power-packed action sequences. She is the love interest of Kabir aka Hritik Roshan as well as a combatant. Watch War 2 trailer below:


Taking to Instagram, YRF shared the trailer and wrote, "Get ready for the storm, the WAR begins now! #War2Trailer is out! #War2 releasing in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on August 14th in cinemas worldwide!"

Delay in the War 2 special song

Adding to the excitement, there’s a special song featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR that is set to drop just a week before the film’s release. While earlier buzz suggested that the song might come out ahead of the trailer, but now the makers have decided to release it after the trailer, keeping fans on edge. With both stars known for their incredible dance moves, the song is expected to be a visual treat. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the track is being kept under wraps for now, raising the curiosity even further.

Ayan Mukerji expresses excitement ahead of War 2 trailer release


Expressing excitement over the trailer drop, Ayaan on his Instagram wrote, "EXCITING TIMES. With the Release of our Movie’s Teaser a few days ago, and 12 weeks to go before our Big Beautiful Movie hits Theatres, feels like the right time for me to share some thoughts…While our movie has so much to offer our audiences with its big-screen spectacle energy, today I want to draw attention to what inspires Me most about War 2…That the Core of this movie is a very powerful and dramatic Story - which really surprised me the first time I heard its script, and has been extremely exciting (and challenging) for me to bring to life!"
