Taylor Swift is getting a grand tribute with 13 wax statues of her, which are being set up at Madame Tussauds museums across the globe. And the number 13 isn’t just random; it’s Taylor’s favourite number and has always been special to her.

Each figure is styled after one of her looks from the Eras Tour, which ran from 2023 to 2024. The tour was big and record-breaking. With 149 concerts across multiple countries, the Eras Tour earned a massive $2 billion, becoming the most successful music tour ever.

Madame Tussauds, known for its super-realistic wax figures of celebrities, says this is their biggest project ever in over 250 years. The statues were made with the help of more than 40 artists, who have paid attention to every tiny detail, starting from the way her hair falls to the exact outfits she wore on stage during the tour.

In a statement, Danielle Cullen, Madame Tussauds’ senior figure stylist said, “We’re honoured to have worked closely with fashion houses like Roberto Cavalli, Vivienne Westwood, Versace, Christian Louboutin, Alberta Ferretti and Etro to recreate some of Swift’s most iconic looks - many of which will have special significance to the cities the 13 new figures will call home”.

“It feels a fitting celebration to give Swifties the chance to commemorate moments from this once-in-a-generation tour in a way that only Madame Tussauds can”, Danielle further added.

All 13 Taylor Swift statues will be placed in different Madame Tussauds museums around the world. Fans in the UK get double the treat as one statue will be in London and another in Blackpool. Other cities that will get the statue include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Nashville, Orlando, Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Hong Kong, and Sydney.

And what's shocking is that the final figure won’t stay in one place; it’s going on a tour of its own. It will start in Shanghai and then travel to other Madame Tussauds locations that don’t have a permanent Taylor Swift statue.
