Sonu Nigam announces ‘Satrangi Re’, a seven city India Tour

Sonu Nigam decided to give a return gift to his fans by announcing his ‘Satrangi Re’ India Tour. With this tour, he is ready to take fans on a special musical journey. Covering seven cities, this tour will celebrate different shades of love through some of his most loved songs. It’s being organised by NR Talent & Event Management in partnership with BookMyShow.

The seven cities included in the tour are Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Shillong, and Delhi-NCR. Tickets will go live at 12 PM on August 1, 2025, only on BookMyShow.
Sonu Nigam shared a heartwarming video on Instagram to announce his India tour. He further shares that the ‘Satrangi Re’ India tour is not like his usual shows. It will celebrate the seven colours of the rainbow, with each colour touching a different theme. His tour will show how love comes in many forms. Watch the video below:

The press release shared by the organisers read, “Each representing a unique emotion that resonates with Sonu Nigam’s vast collection of songs. ‘Satrangi Re’, which translates to ‘seven colours’ in Hindi, is a musical journey that will take audiences on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, from the camaraderie of yellow to the tranquillity of purple. This tour is imagined as a journey through seven distinct emotions of love, inspired by the layered sentiment of Satrangi Re itself. From the fervent red of passionate longing to the quiet blue of painful separation, each colour corresponds to a song that has left an indelible mark – ‘Main Ki Karaan?’, ‘Jeene Ke Hai Char Din’, ‘Zoobi Doobi’, ‘Sapna Jahan, ‘Ro Lein De’, ‘Papa Meri Jaan’, ‘Mere Dolna’, ‘Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin’, ‘Shukaran Allah’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and more".

Sonu Nigam’s birthday celebration didn’t just stop with the Satrangi Re tour announcement. He also released a new single, Kahaani Meri, a unique blend of Hindustani and Carnatic classical music. Composed by P V N S Rohit and co-written by G Ritesh Rao and Sonu himself, the track is out on his own label, I Believe Music and distributed by Global Music Junction.

But what makes this song even more special is how it was launched by his youngest fan, Vedarrth. Just one year old, Vedarrth shares his birthday with Sonu. His parents, Pranita Jaiswal and Anshuman Tapase, lifelong fans of the singer, chose to have their son via C-section on July 30, 2024, just to mark this shared bond. Sonu often calls his fans his “extended family”, and having little Vedarrth launch Kahaani Meri made the moment feel all the more special.
