    Wake up, guys, cause our ‘Badnaam Raja’ aka King is finally going to make his acting debut. Amazon Prime Video has announced that rapper and musician King is all set to make his acting debut in their upcoming original series, 'Lukkha'. The news was confirmed by Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals at Prime Video India, who called it an exciting step in King’s creative journey.

    'Lukkha', a coming-of-age series filled with music and action. “It’s an extremely exciting show. It has got King, the rapper who’s making his acting debut”, said Madhok. Further revealing about the show, he said, “This is a show that was brought to us by two first-time writers. They’re not only the creators; they’re also the writers”.

    The show will feature a young cast and blend different genres, bringing together fresh storytelling and high-energy visuals. “Our experience with them has been so good that both the creators and us are already in conversations to say, what more can we do together", Madhok added. Other details, including the full cast and premiere date, are expected soon.

    King has recently released his album, Shayad Koi Na Sune. The album has three tracks. ‘Yeh Zindagi Hai’, ‘Sab Be Asar’, and ‘Speak Softly’. Through this album King is trying to describe how his life has almost become lifeless.

    King rose to fame in 2019 with the show MTV Hustle. Though he didn’t win, he cemented a loyal fan base with tracks like ‘Ghumshudaa’, ‘Maahaul’, ‘Aye Jaani’, and ‘Gold Raja’, which he performed during the show. After the show, King went on giving multiple hit and chartbuster tracks like ‘Tu Aake Dekh Le’, ‘Maan Meri Jaan’, ‘She Doesn’t Give A’, ‘Kodak’, among others.
