    India’s music scene is buzzing with fresh energy, and it is only possible because of the emerging young artists. Starting from soulful indie voices to rappers and pop sensations, these musicians are redefining what Indian music sounds like today. Here are 15 Young Indian musicians who are making a mark in the music industry:

    1. Sai Abhyyankar: Sai Abhyankar is one of the freshest voices redefining the South Indian music landscape. He made an unforgettable entry into the indie scene with Katchi Sera, followed by back-to-back viral hits like Aasa Kooda, Sithira Puthiri, and Vizhi Veekura. With his unique compositions and modern melodic sensibility, Sai has quickly built a loyal fan base that extends well beyond borders.

    Even before his first film release, Sai secured an enviable lineup of projects, a rare feat for any newcomer. In 2025, he is set to make his debut with the Malayalam-Tamil film Balti, starring Shane Nigam, and Keerthiswaran’s Tamil film Dude with Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju. And that's just the beginning. Sai is also on board for high-profile collaborations, including Atlee’s Allu Arjun-starrer, RJ Balaji’s Karuppu (featuring Suriya and Trisha), Tamizh’s Marshal with Karthi, Bakkiyaraj Kannan’s LCU film Benz with Raghava Lawrence, and Ramkumar Balakrishnan’s untitled Simbu-starrer.     2. Anirudh Ravichander: Anirudh Ravichander continues to shape Indian music with his unstoppable energy and chart-topping hits. After ruling the South Indian music scene, he made a stellar Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, expanding his reach nationwide. With music that is all about mass appeal and innovation, Anirudh stands tall among India’s most influential young composers today.

    3. Sanju Rathod: How could we not include the Marathi music sensation Sanju Rathod? If 'Shaky' or 'Gulabi Sadi' haven’t made it to your playlist yet, you’re definitely missing out. With these two back-to-back bangers, Sanju didn’t just break into the mainstream, but he uplifted the whole Marathi music industry. His music is fun, fearless, and unapologetically regional, reminding everyone that Marathi beats can make the whole country grooving.

    4. Jasleen Royal: Jasleen Royal’s music feels like it’s speaking straight to your heart. Let it be 'Din Shagna Da', 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', or 'Nachde Ne Saare', all of her songs stay with you. She sings in different languages, blends indie with mainstream like it’s effortless, and has really found her own sound. In 2022, she became the first female music director to win a Filmfare for Shershaah.

    5. Anuv Jain:

    Indian singer, songwriter, and composer Anuv Jain has been hitting everyone's playlist with his indie songs. He is known for his simple chorded songs with lyrics that deal with love and heartbreak. His music primarily contains an acoustic guitar or ukulele, unaccompanied by percussion or other instruments. His tracks, ‘Baarishein’, ‘Husn’, ‘Gul', and 'Afsos' are our personal favourites.

    6. Hanumankind: Hanumankind has been making big waves in Indian hip-hop. He first grabbed everyone’s attention with his hit ‘Big Dawgs’ in 2024. That song went viral all over the internet and led Hanumankind to rise to popularity. Hailing from Bengaluru, he is known for blending global rap with his own local flavour. Some of Hanumankind’s famous tracks include ‘Run It Up’, ‘Genghis’, ‘DAMNSON’, and ‘No Hook’.

    7. Darshan Raval: Darshan Raval is easily one of the most loved voices of this generation. He first caught attention on a reality show with his own track 'Pehli Mohabbat', which became a teen favourite overnight. He literally became everyone's crush. Since then, his other songs, 'Ishq Chadha Hai', 'Tu Dua Hai', and 'Sajna' have only added to his charm. His fans eagerly wait for his live shows and new releases.

    8. Paradox: Paradox is a young rapper from Najafgarh, Delhi, who rose to fame after MTV Hustle 2.0. Even though he didn’t win the show, he became really popular for his style and lyrics. He has also teamed up with Yo Yo Honey Singh for the song 'Payal', which is a chartbuster.

    9. Raghav Chaitanya: Raghav Chaitanya has gained a lot of popularity after singing Metro...In Dino's 'Dil Ka Kya', which has become every heartbroken person's favourite. Originally from Meerut and now based in Mumbai, he became the youngest-ever winner of the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer with the soulful 'Ek Tukda Dhoop' from Thappad. He later gave many hit tracks, like 'Dil' from Ek Villain Returns, 'Hua Mai' from Animal, and 'Tum Se' from Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. His voice carries a lot of emotion, and with all these hits, he is definitely one of the youngsters shaping India's current music scene

    10. Akasa Singh: Akasa Singh is a phenomenal singer who rose to fame with her cover of 'Tum Hi Ho' on YouTube. Then she became a part of several successful singles, which include songs like 'Thug Raja', 'Aithey Aa', 'Naagin', and 'Kheech Meri Photo. Her music is full of fun beats and lyrics that celebrate youth and love.

    11. Kr$na: KR$NA is one of the sharpest voices in Indian hip-hop today. Known for his clever lyrics and smooth flow, he has delivered powerful tracks like 'I Guess', 'Khatta Flow', 'Knock Knock', and 'No Cap'. KR$NA always brings his A-game every time with his bars and beats. His recent track 'Vibrate' featuring Badshah, is already stealing a spot in everyone's playlists.

Dhvani Bhanushali: Born in Mumbai, Dhvani Bhanushali gained popularity with her single Vaaste in 2019, which has crossed 1.4 billion views on YouTube, making her the youngest and fastest Indian pop star to hit 1 billion views on YouTube. Later, Dhvani went on to give multiple hits like ‘Leja Re’, ‘Radha’, and ‘Nayan’. Dhvani is truly one of India’s most promising young voices.

    13. Kushagra: Independent singer-songwriter Kushagra Thakur, hailing from Dehradun, is proof that you don’t need a big label to make a big impact. With no industry godfathers and nothing but pure talent, Kushagra has struck a chord with Gen Z through his raw emotion, relatable lyrics, and soulful melodies. His track ‘Paradox ’ is still hitting the charts.

    14. Karan Aujla: Finding Her has become one of the prominent names from the Punjabi music industry. He rose to fame in the year 2018 with his song 'Don’t Worry', which was a chartbuster. The song became mainstream in no time. He gained massive recognition with his Bollywood debut 'Tauba Tauba' from the movie Bad Newz. Karan, who started as a songwriter, has evolved into a fan-favourite musician. Some of his popular songs include ‘Softly’ 'Admirin’ You', 'Wavy', 'Bachke Bachke', and 'Winning Speech’.

    15. Anumita Nadesan: Anumita Nadesan broke into the Indie music scene with songs like Katputli Ke Dhaage, Khwaab, and Khoya Khoya. In a short time, Anumita has emerged as one of the most promising singers in India with tracks like Aasmaan (Farzi) and Tenu Sang Rakhna (Jigra) to her credit.
