Grammy nominee Morgan Wallen says his concerts are safe for ‘side-chicks’, amid Coldplay kiss-cam incident
Country singer and Grammy nominee, Morgan Wallen, made a cheeky comment during his Arizona concert that seemed to be a reference to the recent viral Coldplay kiss-cam incident.

During his show at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, he joked, “If there’s anybody here with their side chick or whatever, I think, I think you’re safe here. I don’t condone cheating… anymore”. The crowd burst into laughter and clapped, clearly getting the joke.

Wallen was talking about that video from a Coldplay concert near Boston, where Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR head Kristin Cabot were caught looking a little too cosy on the kiss cam. Later, they turned out to be married but not to each other.

Even Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin joked about the incident in one of his recent concerts at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Chris said, “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd. How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now”.

    About the Coldplay kiss-came incident

At Coldplay’s Boston concert at Gillette Stadium, the kiss cam panned to Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, CEO and HR Chief at the tech company Astronomer, respectively. The pair were seen cuddling in the crowd. Byron, who’s married with two kids, quickly ducked to hide his face while Cabot covered hers, clearly caught off guard. Martin, unaware of who they were at the time, playfully said, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy".

The video blew up online. Within days after the incident, Byron resigned from his CEO position. His wife also removed his last name from her social media handles. The internet went into detective mode, dissecting every angle of the incident, especially since Kristin, ironically, heads the company’s HR department.
