AR Rahman had the crowd laughing during his Wonderment Tour stop in Washington, US, when he made a light-hearted comment about the recent Coldplay concert incident.

While performing at the Tacoma Dome, the camera zoomed in on some excited fans in the crowd. Picking up on the moment, AR Rahman jokingly said, "I won't get you into trouble. Don't worry”, referencing the viral clip from a Coldplay concert that unintentionally spotlighted Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Head of HR, Kristin Cabot, looking a little too cosy with each other. The audience burst into laughter, clearly enjoying Rahman’s comment.

Even Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin joked about the incident in one of his recent concerts at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Chris said, “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd. How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now”.

    About the Coldplay kiss-came incident

At Coldplay’s Boston concert at Gillette Stadium, the kiss cam panned to Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, who were seen cuddling in the crowd. Byron, who’s married with two kids, quickly ducked to hide his face while Cabot covered hers, clearly caught off guard. Chris Martin, unaware of who they were at the time, playfully said, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy". The video of the incident went viral on the internet, and within days after the incident, Byron resigned from his CEO position. His wife also removed his last name from her social media handles.
