Playback singer Chinmayi Sripada has spoken out strongly against the recent mobbing incident involving actor Nidhhi Agerwal at Hyderabad’s Lulu Mall, expressing her outrage over the treatment meted out to the actor. Taking to X, Chinmayi shared a video from the incident and issued a sharp condemnation of the behaviour on display.

Posting footage that showed Nidhhi Agerwal being surrounded and roughly handled by a crowd, Chinmayi wrote, "Pack of men behaving worse than hyenas. Actually, why insult hyenas? Put 'likeminded' men together in a mob, they will harass a woman like this. Why doesn't some God take them all away and put them on a different planet?" Her post quickly gained traction online, with many users echoing her anger and concern.

The incident occurred on Wednesday following the launch of the song ‘Sahana Sahana’ from Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab. The promotional event was held in Hyderabad and drew a massive crowd. Nidhhi Agerwal, who plays the female lead in the film, was reportedly mobbed while attempting to leave the venue.

The situation escalated at Lulu Mall, where the event was hosted, and a large number of fans had gathered. As Nidhhi tried to make her exit, members of the crowd broke through security arrangements in an attempt to get closer to her and take selfies. What should have been a routine departure quickly turned chaotic. Disturbing videos circulating on social media capture the actor looking visibly distressed as she navigates through the crowd. In one widely shared clip, Nidhhi is seen clutching her dupatta while security personnel struggle to contain the situation and ensure her safe passage to her car. The visuals have sparked widespread criticism over crowd control failures and the recurring issue of women’s safety at public events.
