The new season is set to premiere on April 7, 2026, at 9 PM KST, and will feature all seven members, RM,
In the teaser, BTS appears to be brainstorming how to give the series a new post-military-era makeover. The opening text reads, “The beginning of a way too invested contest.” From there, the members are seen tossing around ideas and joking with each other as they talk about revamping the format. RM, as always, seems to lead the discussion, with the group agreeing that the show needed a proper refresh after such a long break.
For fans, the return of Run BTS is a big moment in itself. The original series had become a comfort watch for many, thanks to the group’s chaotic games, inside jokes, and easy chemistry. The last episode of the show aired back in 2022, before the members began focusing on solo schedules and military service. Now, with all seven members reunited, Run BTS 2.0 feels like a proper part of their comeback chapter.

The timing also makes the launch even more exciting. The show will begin just two days before BTS starts their ARIRANG World Tour on April 9, 2026. In India, the first episode is expected to stream at 5:30 PM IST. Not surprisingly, the teaser has already gone viral online, with fans flooding social media with reactions. Many called the show their “comfort show” and said they were excited to see the group back in this format after so long.
About BTS' much-awaited comeback
BTS made their comeback earlier this month with the release of their new album ARIRANG on March 20. The comeback has already turned into a major event for fans worldwide, especially as it marks a new full-group era after military enlistments. For the unversed, all BTS members completed their mandatory military service by June 2025.
Their upcoming world tour is set to begin in Goyang and will continue through 2027, with stops planned across North America, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Japan, Singapore, and several other countries.
