Arjun Kanungo: ‘Dobara’ is a reminder to live life without holding back - Exclusive

Arjun Kanungo has released his latest single ‘Dobara’, a Hindi pop song that explores themes of love, time, and second chances. Featuring Akbar-Wasif and produced by Plushy, the track blends emotional lyrics with a soothing melody that stays with you.

'Dobara' speaks to the momentary nature of time and the importance of living in the present. With its heartfelt lyrics and melody, the track urges listeners to cherish every moment because life doesn’t always offer second chances.

In an exclusive chat with Gaana, Arjun shared the inspiration behind the track. “Dobara is a very personal track for us”, he said. “It was born out of a moment of reflection, a conversation about how we often let time slip by without truly living in the present”.

Highlighting the line “Zindagi jee le, phir kya pata... kab mile hum dobara” from the track ‘Dobara’ Arjun said, “Life is unpredictable, and we don’t always get a second chance with people, with opportunities, or with time. This song is a reminder to feel everything fully, to live without holding back”.

Talking about working with Akbar and Wasif, Arjun said it was an easy choice. “They’re incredibly talented songwriters. Their raw emotion and lyrical depth were the perfect match for what this song needed. We wanted it to feel timeless, but still very now", he added.

He hopes the song moves listeners to reflect and maybe even reconnect. “Dobara is for anyone who’s ever wished for one more moment. Sometimes, that’s all it takes to change everything".
