The first single from Mass Jathara, titled ‘Tu Mera Lover’, is out now, and it carries a surprising and emotional tribute for fans of late music composer Chakri. In a first-of-its-kind move, the makers have brought Chakri’s voice back to life using AI technology, using a source voice base from the film’s music director Bheems Ceciroleo. The result is nostalgic track that blends old-school charm with modern production.

What makes the track even more special is that it reimagines the popular tune from Choopultho, a fan-favourite number from Ravi Teja’s 2002 blockbuster Idiot. The retro rhythm and energetic beat instantly transport listeners back to the golden era of early 2000s Telugu cinema. Lending additional energy are Ravi Teja and Sreeleela, who light up the screen with their vibrant dance moves. The lyrics, penned by the ever-reliable Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar, complement the peppy vibe of the number.

The teaser for Mass Jathara also dropped recently and has already generated a buzz, showcasing Ravi Teja in full form, delivering the fiery dialogue, “Manadhe Idhantha," a line that has already struck a chord with his die-hard fans. The film appears to be a celebration of Ravi Teja’s mass-appealing image, one that has defined a generation of Telugu action-comedy cinema.


Helmed by debut director Bhanu Bogavarapu, Mass Jathara is shaping up to be a nostalgic rollercoaster. Backed by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya producing, the film is still awaiting an official release date. The technical crew also includes Vidhu Ayyanna as the cinematographer, Nagendra Tangala on production design, and Navin Nooli in charge of editing. With all these elements in place, Mass Jathara promises to be a grand return to the high-octane, mass entertainer space Ravi Teja fans adore.
