One of the world’s biggest and most loved music festivals, Tomorrowland, is finally coming to Asia. After years of fans waiting, the festival is set to make its debut in China in 2025, followed by a full-scale event in Thailand.

Known for its wild energy, massive crowds, crazy visuals, and non-stop EDM, Tomorrowland is a full-blown experience with massive confetti, lights, big beats, and a sky full of stars. Asia is all set to get a taste of it for the very first time.

The first stop for Tomorrowland is Shanghai, China, which is scheduled for November 22, 2025. Titled “The Magic of Tomorrowland”, the festival will be held at the Hero Dome near the beautiful Bund area. This will be Tomorrowland’s first indoor show with a one-night-only setup where music and lights will come together under one roof. The venue is meant to hold about 5,000 attendees. This will also boost the tourism of the country.

The Thai government has also expressed enthusiasm for the festival. Honourable Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, said that the country will be the "heartbeat of the festival," not just a host. The Thai government is also planning to blend Tomorrowland's distinct sound with Thai cultural elements, aiming to redefine the global festival experience. The festival is expected to attract billions of baht in investment, with a five-year partnership, averaging around $10 million investment per year.

While the artist line-up hasn’t been announced yet, fans can expect jaw-dropping stage setups and world-famous DJs. Tickets will go live in September 2025.
Tomorrowland first began in 2005 in Boom, Belgium, by brothers Manu and Michiel Beers. Over the years, it has grown into a global festival that sees fans from all over the world. Tickets often sell out in minutes, and the festival hosts hundreds of artists across more than 16 stages.
