Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey bring heartbreak with ‘Alvida’ from Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

The makers of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan have released another emotional song ‘Alvida.’ Sung and composed beautifully by Vishal Mishra and lyrics written by Kaushal Kishore, ‘Alvida’ hits all the right notes for anyone who’s ever had to say goodbye when they didn’t want to. The video shows Shanaya and Vikrant navigating heartbreak and distance, with moments that show unspoken pain and remorse. This song goes deeper into the complicated love story between Shanaya and Vikrant’s characters and gives us a better look at the ups and downs they face in the film.

Announcing the new track, ‘Alvida,’ the makers wrote, “A thousand unsaid goodbyes… now echo through every note...” They further added, “Some goodbyes aren’t loud. They’re made of things we never said, feelings we never shared, and love we had to hide behind eyes.”

In Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Shanaya plays a passionate theatre artist while Vikrant takes on the role of a blind musician. The movie connects the souls of the characters through their art, but they are kept apart due to problems. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is directed by Santosh Singh, written and created by Mansi Bagla, and produced by Zee Studios, Mini Films, and Open Window Films. Starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor in the lead, the movie is all set to release in cinemas on 11 July 2025.
