    Sarzameen first song 'Ve Mahiya' is out now

    The new song ‘Ve Mahiya’ from the upcoming film Sarzameen has just dropped, filling everyone with emotions and patriotism. Sung by B Praak, composed by Vishal Khurana K, and written by Kausar Munir, the track combines themes of love, loss, and sacrifice, with deep patriotism. The music video of ‘Ve Mahiya’ offered a glimpse into the tense family dynamic of the characters of Sarzameen, featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan.     The makers of the movie shared the song video and wrote, “Ghar ki doori se bada dard aur koi nahi. #VeMahiya – song out now #Sarzameen, releasing July 25, only on @jiohotstar! #SarzameenOnJioHotstar."


    Fans are already loving the new track and the way it gives a glimpse into the story of the movie. One fan commented, “Kajol is looking timeless,” while another fan said, “When it comes to emotional scenes, there is literally no one like Kajol. The scene where she is meeting Ibrahim at the beginning of the song just made me teary-eyed.”

    Sarzameen revolves around the story of an Army officer, Colonel Vijay Menon aka Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is determined to free the Kashmir valley from terrorism, even if it means going up against his own son Harman, played by Ibrahim Ali Khan, who has chosen the path of violence. The character of Meera, played by Kajol, is a mother and wife caught between her duty as a citizen and her role as a parent. She is forced to watch her family break under the weight of betrayal and ideology.

    Sarzameen is presented by Star Studio and produced by Dharma Productions. Directed by Kayoze Irani, the movie features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol, and Ibrahim Ali Khan, with Mihir Ahuja and Boman Irani in supporting roles. Sarzameen is all set to be released on all streaming OTT platforms from 25th July.
