Needless to say, the hype surrounding Ramayana is high, especially with Prabhas' starrer Adipurush failing to make a mark amongst the audience. However, Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana teaser has received mixed reactions from netizens. "Ramayana teaser, solid 8/10, visuals promising," read a tweet. Teaser is solid 8 out of 10 and this will only get better with 6-7 months before the release but one thing which Namit Malhotra shouldn't have done is saying budget is 4000 cr bcz now people's expectations are really high. However, a section of the audience found Ramayana's teaser disappointing. “More money spent on this than Avatar and the world just looks disappointing,” read a comment. “No matter how much I want to love this, but no 😢 Rakshasas could be better, and that flirtatious boy image of Ranbir just doesn’t fit into Shri Ram 💔 maybe it gets better,” read another comment.
