Adaavadi song: Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara’s kids make cameo in Love Insurance Kompany song

The team behind Love Insurance Kompany (LIK Movie) has unveiled its third single, “Adaavadi Song" and the surprise factor in the song is cameo appearances by Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's twins - Uyir and Ulag. The Vignesh Shivan directorial is scheduled to release on April 10, 2026.

“Adaavadi Song” begins with a clever reference to the viral ‘faah’ meme sound. This playful opening sets the mood for a lively and energetic number that aligns perfectly with the film’s offbeat, fun-filled narrative style. The track also stands out for its special cameo appearances by Pradeep Ranganathan, Anirudh Ravichander and Vignesh Shivan. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fourth collaboration with Vignesh Shivan after Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. Before “Adaavadi Song,” the album introduced listeners to “Dheema,” released in October 2024, followed by “Pattuma” in November 2025. Another highlight is “Enakena Yaarum Illaye,” a composition originally created by Anirudh in 2015 for the shelved film Aakko. The track finally received its due with a re-release and music video on Valentine’s Day 2026 as part of the LIK movie soundtrack.

Directed by Vignesh Shivan, Love Insurance Kompany stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, with S. J. Suryah and Gouri Kishan playing key characters. The film is produced by Rowdy Pictures, founded by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara, in association with Seven Screen Studio.

Set in a futuristic Chennai of 2040, the story revolves around a young man who continues to believe in sincere, unconventional love in a world where relationships are commercialised and controlled by algorithms, overseen by a corporation led by S.J. Suryah’s character.

The journey to release has not been smooth, with multiple postponements since its initial September 2025 plan. After missing earlier release windows, including February and April, the makers officially locked April 10 as the release date through a promo unveiled on March 28.

Despite these delays, excitement around Love Insurance Kompany remains strong. The on-screen pairing of Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, the music by Anirudh Ravichander, and Vignesh Shivan’s return to direction after Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal have all contributed to sustained buzz.
