    Kuberaa first song Poyiraa Mama: Dhanush sings and shakes a leg to DSP's music
    The much-awaited first song from Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula, is finally here. Titled Poyiraa Mama, the vibrant track was shared by lead actor Dhanush on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday. Dhanush has sung both the Tamil and Telugu versions of the track—Poyivaa Nanba and Poyiraa Mama respectively.

    The Telugu lyrics have been penned by Bhaskarabhatla, while Viveka has written the Tamil version. The Hindi adaptation of the song, Jaake Aana Yaara, is performed by Nakash Aziz. The track is also available in Kannada as Hogi Baa Geleya and in Malayalam, once again titled Poyivaa Nanba. The lyrical video features Dhanush dancing with infectious energy, setting the mood for what looks like a foot-tapping musical number that cuts across languages. Watch the song here:

    Backed by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, Kuberaa promises to be a layered, character-driven drama. While the story remains under wraps, rumours suggest Dhanush plays a beggar who transforms into a powerful mafia figure. There’s also talk that Nagarjuna plays an investigative officer, although neither of these roles has been officially confirmed by the makers. On the technical side, Kubera boasts cinematography by Niketh Bommi. The film’s production design is handled by Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre, with costumes designed by Kavya Sriram and Poorvaa Jain. The screenplay has been co-written by Chaithanya Pingali. Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Kubera promises to be a gripping pan-Indian drama blending emotion, action, and music.
