‘Nadhive’ teaser: Hesham Abdul Wahab's classical composition for Rashmika Mandanna's film will have you hooked

Rashmika Mandanna, fresh off her appearance in Dhanush’s Kuberaa, is gearing up for her next big release, The Girlfriend, a coming-of-age drama directed by Rahul Ravindran. After teasing fans with a first-look glimpse back in December 2023 and a teaser track earlier this year, the makers have now teased the film’s first full single.

Titled ‘Nadhive’, the song will release later today and the teaser is already bound to have you hooked. The music for The Girlfriend is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who is known for his hit soundtrack in Hi Nanna, Kushi and Hridayam. 'Nadhive' is also sung by Hesham and the glimpses of the music video show Rashmika and Dheekshith Shetty dancing to the tunes. Choreography is handled by Vishwakiran Nambi, with lyrics penned by Rakendu Mouli. The song is shot by Siddhartha Nuni, known for his work in Captain Miller and G.O.A.T. The track will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam, expanding its reach across regions.

About The Girlfriend

The Girlfriend is written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, who also plays an important role in the film. The movie stars Dheekshith Shetty as the male lead, with veteran actors Rao Ramesh and Rohini in supporting roles. The film is presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi under the Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment banner. On the technical side, Chota K Prasad is handling editing duties, while Ramakrishna-Monica serve as the production design team.
