KATSEYE’s Manon says she is “happy and healthy” amid group exit speculation

KATSEYE member Manon has shared a fresh update with fans after social media users noticed that “KATSEYE” was no longer mentioned in her Instagram bio. The change quickly sparked discussion online, following which Manon reached out to fans directly through Weverse to reassure them.

Addressing the rumours, Manon wrote, "Thank you so much for all the love and support you've been sending my way. I'm really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations, and I feel supported. I'm happy and I'm healthy." She further added, "I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me."

Manon has been on a temporary hiatus since February in order to focus on her health. At the time, HYBE had said that the company fully supported her decision and that the group would continue standing by one another and their fans.

So far, there has been no official confirmation on when she will return to group activities. This also isn’t the first time Manon has had to step back for health reasons. She had previously missed KATSEYE’s performance at Summer Sonic in Tokyo last year.

KATSEYE was formed through the audition show The Debut: Dream Academy, under HYBE Labels, and officially debuted in June 2024. Along with Manon, the group includes Sophia Laforteza, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Megan Skiendiel, and Jeung Yoonchae.

The group is currently preparing for a major month ahead, with their Coachella debut scheduled for April 10 and April 17. They are also set to headline the 2026 Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival in Pasadena, California, on August 8.
