    Indian songs have always had a way of travelling far beyond borders. Over the years, several international stars have shown just how much they enjoy Indian music, whether it’s by dancing to a Bollywood classic, vibing to a Punjabi party track, or even performing Hindi and Punjabi songs live. Here’s a look at some international stars who have shown love to Indian songs in the most fun way.

    Ricky Martin

    Latin pop icon Ricky Martin was seen dancing to the Punjabi track Oh Ho Ho Ho while India celebrated its ICC Men's T20 World Cup win. The singer was spotted jumping, vibing and enjoying the moment as fans around him cheered.

    KATSEYE

    Back in December, global girl group KATSEYE won hearts after sharing a fun Bollywood-inspired dance clip on social media. In the now-viral video, Lara Raj, Sophia Laforteza, Yoonchae Jeung and Megan Skiendiel were seen dancing to Bole Chudiyan from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham with full energy and enthusiasm. The group even summed it up perfectly in their caption: “A Bollywood moment.”


    Nick Jonas

    If there’s one international star who has repeatedly embraced Bollywood music, it’s Nick Jonas. Often lovingly called “National Jiju” by Indian fans, Nick has shared several videos of himself dancing to Hindi songs over the years. In December 2025, ahead of a Jonas Brothers concert, Nick was seen dancing backstage to Priyanka Chopra’s Hindi track Mujhse Shaadi Karogi along with brothers Kevin and Joe Jonas. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Another show means another night educating the guys on some of my favourite Hindi hype songs #mujhseshadikarogi.” He has also previously vibed to tracks like Shararat, making fans love his Bollywood side even more.


    Will Smith

    Will Smith actually ticked off a major dream when he got to be part of a full Bollywood-style dance number. The Hollywood danced to Student of the Year 's song Radha Teri Chunri. It instantly became one of those crossover pop-culture moments fans still remember.


    Ed Sheeran

    Ed Sheeran has had more than one memorable Indian music moment. Ahead of his India tour in 2024, the singer was seen dancing with Armaan Malik to Butta Bomma, the hit number from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Armaan shared the clip and captioned it, “Favourite person in my city.” At his Mumbai concert, Ed also surprised the audience by bringing out Diljit Dosanjh and even sang Punjabi lyrics from Lover, leaving the crowd stunned.


    Dua Lipa

    Dua Lipa has had her own Bollywood moment, too. During her visit to Mumbai, she reportedly spent time with Shah Rukh Khan and learned a few Bollywood dance moves from him. She also delighted fans during her Mumbai performance by performing the viral Wo Ladki Jo x Levitating mashup.

    Jason Derulo

    Jason Derulo has often shown love for Indian music online. The singer, who also collaborated with Nora Fatehi, has posted videos grooving to Indian tracks like Jalebi Baby, proving he’s no stranger to desi beats.

    Marshmello

    DJ and producer Marshmello has also leaned into Bollywood music in a big way. Apart from collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and Pritam on BIBA, he has also performed Bollywood-style dance moves both in music videos and during his live sets in India.

    Akon

    After lending his voice to the hugely popular Chammak Challo from Ra.One, Akon became one of the earliest international stars to become closely associated with a Bollywood chartbuster. Over the years, he has often been seen recreating the song’s iconic steps during live performances and global appearances.

    Rihanna

    Rihanna brought global attention to Indian celebrations when she performed at the lavish pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in 2024. The event was packed with Bollywood-inspired moments, and Rihanna’s presence became one of the biggest highlights of the celebration.
