Justin Bieber says he is 'extremely selfish and impatient’ in latest social media post

Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber is opening up once again about his personal growth, faith, and emotional journey. In a reflective post shared Tuesday on X (formerly Twitter), the 31-year-old singer offered fans a glimpse into his mindset.

“Thanking Jesus for his patience with me this morning. I can be extremely selfish and impatient, yet Jesus always has his arms open toward me,” Justin Bieber wrote. Alongside his message, he shared photos of himself smiling during a serene hike in the woods, encouraging fans to reconnect with nature. “Let’s have a good day, let’s go outside. Get in nature,” he added.

The post follows the recent release of Swag, Bieber’s surprise R&B-influenced album that marked his comeback after a four-year break. The 21-track project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, earning him the biggest streaming week of his career. His wife, Hailey Bieber has been a constant presence during the rollout, appearing in promotional materials and posting a bold Instagram Story in support, “Is it finally clocking to you f*****g losers?”

The couple also shares an 11-month-old son, Jack Blues, rounding out what has been a year of major personal and creative shifts for Bieber. Earlier this year, the singer opened up about his struggles with self-worth in a raw Instagram Story, “I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, ‘Damn, if they only knew my thoughts, how judgmental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn't be saying this.’”

He continued, “I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.” Bieber’s introspection didn’t stop there. In a June post, he spoke about emotional challenges and the grounding force of faith in his life, “Jesus is the only person who keeps me wanting to make my life about others,” he wrote, also admitting he had been feeling “broken” and was struggling with “anger issues.”
