Jasmine Sandlas calls Dhurandhar: The Revenge the ‘best Hindi film of all time’

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to dominate conversations across the country, and now singer Jasmine Sandlas has shared her strong reaction to the film’s massive success.

The high-energy spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, has not only made a huge impact at the box office but has also become one of the most talked-about films on social media. Adding to that buzz, Jasmine, whose songs are a major part of the film’s soundtrack, has called the movie the “best Hindi film of all time.”

In a recent interview with Humans of Bombay, the singer spoke about the response the sequel has received since its release on March 19, saying the film has completely taken over audiences.

“I think it is the best Hindi film of all time. Now it is a massive statement but it is so appropriate matlab aur batao itne saalon mein aisi kaun si film thi, Dhurandhar ya Dhurandhar The Revenge se ilawa, jisne sabki hypnotise hi kar diya, jisne sara social media take over kiya hua hain (In the recent past, which other film, except these two, have hypnotised viewers in such a manner, where it is a rage in social media)?"

Jasmine also spoke about the kind of frenzy she has been seeing around the film, especially when it comes to ticket sales and audience excitement. “Jis film ko dekhne ke liye tickets nahi milte hain, theatres main! I have not seen a frenzy like this in many, many years. I happen to be a part of it, I am so lucky! I feel like my prayers have been answered. A lot of us have been so invested in this masterpiece that is Dhurandhar The Revenge… that people are feeling the music, the movie, globally."

The singer has been closely associated with the Dhurandhar franchise musically, having lent her voice to songs like Shararat, Main Aur Tu, and Jaiye Sajana.
