This tour will kick off just under two months before the release of Sheeran’s next album, Play, which is set to come out on September 12. That’s only a few days after he finishes his current +–=÷× Tour (Mathematics Tour) in Düsseldorf, Germany.

This will be Sheeran’s first return to Australia and New Zealand since early 2023. On that tour, he broke records at Melbourne Cricket Ground, playing to a massive crowd of 217,500 people across two nights. Each of those shows beat the previous attendance record held by Eminem, who played to 80,708 fans back in 2019.
Fans had been waiting for this tour news for a while. Back in May, Sheeran hinted at his plans on his private Instagram account, saying, “Oz/NZ top of next year, then Latam, then USA.”
