BLACKPINK's Lisa and Rosé gave fans an unexpected desi surprise during their DEADLINE LA concert at SoFi Stadium, and no, it wasn’t planned as a tribute, but it sure went viral on the internet.

On Friday, July 18, Lisa dropped a bunch of photos from the high-energy LA show on her Instagram. She captioned her post, “LA energy giving. First time performing at SoFi Stadium and had so much fun jumping with Blinks”.

But among all the glittery stage moments and fan love, one particular picture had Indian fans go all crazy.

In the now-viral picture, Lisa and Rosé are seen holding glasses on their heads, which instantly reminded fans of that iconic Bobby Deol’s ‘Jamal Kudu’ step from the movie Animal. Yes, the same ‘Jamal Kudu’ step that had taken over Instagram reels and dance floors just months ago.

Though the two members of BLACKPINK didn’t give any nod to the Bollywood film, fans couldn’t help but connect the dots. The visual similarity had desi BLINKs buzzing in excitement, calling it a fun and unexpected crossover moment.

Bobby Deol played the role of Abrar in Animal, and the Jamal Kudu step, where he grooves with a glass on his head, became one of the most talked-about moments from the film, even turning into a viral trend across social media.
