TWICE just made history again! The queens of K-pop lit up Lollapalooza Chicago on August 2, becoming the first-ever K-pop girl group to headline the festival’s main stage, and let’s just say, it was insane. TWICE treated the crowd to OG bops and brand-new bangers, but it was their live debut of Takedown from KPop Demon Hunters that truly sent fans into a frenzy.

With a full live band, the nine-member group powered through hits like One Spark and Stuck in My Head, but things got even more intense when they dropped Strategy, This Is For, and finally, the much-anticipated Takedown. Yep, that Takedown, the very same chart-topping track from the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters. Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung absolutely crushed it on vocals, and the video of their performance has taken the internet by storm.

Meanwhile, TWICE's Lollapalooza debut was K-pop history unlocked. After legends like J-Hope, TXT, and Stray Kids took over past editions, TWICE became the first girl group to own the Lolla main stage. But wait, it gets cooler.

As the set wrapped, fans were treated to an epic drone show inspired by K-pop Demon Hunters. From Yumyan the derpy demon cat to the Saja Boys trying to hypnotise the crowd, it felt like a live-action HUNTR\X experience. The drone display ended on a high with a dramatic “The Honmoon is Sealed” announcement, followed by the iconic TWICE logo lighting up the sky.
