In an industry where new trends come and go every day, ‘
Trilok’ stands out as something truly different. ‘Trilok’ is a new Indian band fully powered by artificial intelligence. Launched by
Collective Media Network, Trilok aims to mix India’s deep spiritual traditions with the raw energy of modern rock. The band comprises four members: Arjun Varma- a vocalist, Aditya Rao- a guitarist, Karan Tripathi- a drummer, and Viraj Ranjan- bassist. The band comes with a set of AI-generated visual teasers that bring its digital band members to life. Each member is designed as a unique virtual character, adding another layer to the experience. These visuals are created with AI but guided by real humans at Collective’s in-house AI lab.
‘Trilok’ musical inspiration is drawn from Indian spiritual roots like chants, mantras, and old motifs. But instead of keeping these elements traditional, Trilok reimagines them as immersive, powerful soundscapes. The band’s debut single,
Achyutam Keshavam, is already out on YouTube, Instagram, and other streaming platforms.
“Trilok is what happens when you let technology channel something deeper and express it through a traditional rock lens. It’s India’s sonic past reassembled for a future audience,” said
Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO of Collective Artists Network. “This is a deeply personal project, it takes me back to my college band days. I just hope it hits listeners with the same kind of meaning and memory,” he added.
He further added, “We’re not pretending Trilok isn’t AI, that’s the point. The bandmates are fully digital characters, each with their own identity, personality, and journey. We’re building something that goes far beyond music, this is a new genre, a new storytelling format. I’ve always believed technology is a friend and not a foe and it should fuel creativity.”

“Trilok wasn’t just created to drop music, it was built to spark discovery, community, and conversation across platforms,” said
Sudeep Lahiri, Head of Channels and Distribution at Collective Media Network. “We approached this band like we would a pop-culture property that has character arcs, immersive content, and a strong distribution engine behind it. Every track, visual, and post is part of a larger universe we’re shaping. We see Trilok not just as a band, but as a format that lives across music, story, and fandom.”
With its first song already out, Trilok is hoping to open up a new space where spiritual music and rock come together with the help of artificial intelligence.
