Shreya Ghoshal gets emotional at Coldplay concert in Mumbai. See pics and videos

Just like us, melody queen Shreya Ghoshal is a diehard Coldplay fan too and the singer had a magical evening attending Coldplay’s second concert in Mumbai at the DY Patil Stadium on Sunday. Accompanied by her husband, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, and her 70-year-old father, Bishwajit Ghoshal, Shreya immersed herself in the soulful experience of Coldplay’s music.

Shreya Ghoshal shared a series of photos and videos from the event on Instagram and gave fans a glimpse of her musical evening. She grooved to Coldplay’s iconic tracks such as A Sky Full of Stars, Fix You, and Paradise. In one of the clips, composer Salim Merchant was also spotted among the attendees. Shreya and Shiladitya also posed for some adorable pictures together. In a playful moment recorded by Shiladitya, Shreya was seen walking toward the venue while navigating a slight incline. Laughing, she remarked, “It’s a lot of work to come to a concert. It’s better to just be on the stage.” Shiladitya humorously pointed out that she might feel that way because of the climb, and Shreya couldn’t help but agree.

For the concert, Shreya opted for a stylish look, pairing a blue and white top with black pants. Reflecting on the experience, she captioned her Instagram post, “Just pure love for @coldplay. Swipe till the last video to know everything. My second concert with the amazing Chris Martin and his band! And you turned your magic on for Mumbai and how!! It was a spectacular experience. Couldn’t stop my tears for Fix You! My 70+ year-old dad @bishwajitghoshal loved the concert so much!!! Thank you for letting me and @shiladitya relive all our memories once again which have ruled our lives growing up.”

Coldplay is in India for a series of much-anticipated concerts as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. Enthralling fans with their electrifying performances, the band has already delivered two spectacular shows at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18 and 19. The third and final Mumbai concert is slated for January 21. Following their Mumbai leg, Coldplay will travel to Ahmedabad to perform two back-to-back concerts on January 25 and January 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
