Shreya Ghoshal and Jubin Nautiyal’s voices bring soul to 'Bas Ek Dhadak', say Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi - Exclusive

Tripti Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi are busy promoting their upcoming film Dhadak 2, which is all set to release on 1st August 2025. During a recent chat with Mirchi Plus, both Tripti and Siddhant shared their experience working on the film, especially about the title track ‘Bas Ek Dhadak’ that’s receiving a lot of love from the audience.

Talking about the song, Tripti said, “Main Shreya ji ki bahut badi fan hoon, aur hamesha se rahi hoon. Mere liye toh ye bahut badi baat hai ki she is singing for me,” she said with a big smile. “Bahat hi khoobsoorat gaana hai”, she further added. (I have always been a fan of Shreya Ghoshal. (It’s such a big deal for me that she’s singing for me. The song is just so beautiful.)

Siddhant, too, shared his love for the track. “Main toh 6 mahine se sun raha hoon,” he said. “Jubin ki awaaz itni ruhani hai, aur Shreya ji toh... I think aise lagta hai ki siddhe jannat se batein kar rahi hai”. (I have been listening to the song for 6 months now. Jubin’s voice is so soulful. And it feels like Shreya Ghoshal ji speaking straight to the heaven)

The two also spoke about what they’ve taken away from their roles. Siddhant said the film taught him the importance of resilience, patience, and fearlessness. The two also spoke about their favourite romantic films. Triptii mentioned Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, while Siddhant named Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Sadma, and Abhimaan.
