‘Pretty Little Baby’ singer Connie Francis passed away at 87

Connie had been in the hospital since early July after experiencing intense pain. She shared an update on social media with a message, “I am back in hospital where I have been undergoing tests and checks to determine the cause(s) of the extreme pain I have been experiencing". Due to which she had to cancel her appearance on a special Independence Day radio show with Cousin Brucie.

On July 4, she had posted that she was feeling better, but she remained under medical supervision. Just a couple of months earlier, in May, she had revealed that she was recovering from hip surgery and was using a wheelchair.
