Mohanlal and Mammootty unite in explosive ‘Patriot’ trailer; Mahesh Narayanan promises a high-stakes thriller

The much-anticipated Malayalam movie Patriot trailer has finally dropped, bringing together Malayalam cinema giants Mohanlal and Mammootty. Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, the upcoming movie is already generating massive buzz for its gripping premise and star-studded cast.

Right from the opening moments, the trailer builds tension with a haunting tone. Nayanthara appears in a serious setting, urging a distressed woman to speak her truth, while Revathy raises concerns about a suspicious civilian mission. These early glimpses hint at a larger conspiracy unfolding beneath the surface.

The narrative thickens as Fahadh Faasil introduces a new software called “Samaj Seva,” which seems to play a critical role in the story. Soon after, Mammootty is seen as a vlogger exposing the dark side of such technology, suggesting it has the ability to track personal data and function as a covert surveillance tool. About Patriot

Patriot follows a retired JAG officer, played by Mammootty, who is falsely accused of espionage. Determined to prove his innocence and safeguard the nation, he embarks on a covert mission, joined by Mohanlal as a seasoned armed forces operative.

The film also features a strong supporting cast including Grace Antony, Zarin Shihab, Sreeparvathy, Geethi Sangeetha, Jinu Joseph, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman, and Prakash Belawadi. Originally slated for April 23, the film’s release was pushed due to unforeseen circumstances. The Patriot Malayalam movie is now set to hit theatres on May 1.
