Mirchi Top 20: Arijit Singh's Tu Hi Disda and Khwaab Dekhoon enter the charts

Every week, the Mirchi Top 20 gives us a clear picture of what listeners are truly hooked on, and this time too, the list is packed with everything from chart-topping bangers to slow-burning romantics and fresh new entries. Starting things off at number one is Aari Aari from Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The recreated version by Bombay Rockers and Khan Saab, with Shashwat Sachdev behind the rework, has clearly struck a chord with listeners and takes the top spot this week.

Last week’s chart-topper Shararat, has slipped to number two, but the song is still going strong. Sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas, and composed by Shashwat Sachdev, the track continues to enjoy a solid run, especially on social media.

At number three is Deewaniyat from Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Sung by Vishal Mishra, with music by Kaushik-Guddu and lyrics by Kunaal Vermaa, the song has slowly but steadily found its audience.

Holding its position at number four is Saiyaara, sung by Faheem Abdullah with Arslan Nizami and composed by Tanishk Bagchi. The track continues to stay in heavy rotation week after week.

Meanwhile, Aawara Angaara from Tere Ishk Mein has slipped a little this week and now sits at number five. Composed, arranged and produced by A.R. Rahman, the song is sung by Faheem Abdullah and written by Irshad Kamil. Its moody, intense sound still helps it stand out.


At number six, Gehra Hua continues to stay among listeners’ favourites. Sung by Arijit Singh and Armaan Khan, with music by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics by Irshad Kamil, it’s one of those songs that quietly grows on you.

Coming in at number seven is Main Aur Tu from Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Sung and composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with additional vocals and lyrics by Jasmine Sandlas and Reble, the song brings a more techno-heavy, energetic sound to the list.

Sitaare from Ikkis has also seen a nice jump this week. The song has climbed three spots and now lands at number nine. Featuring Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia, the romantic track is sung by Arijit Singh, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and created by White Noise Collective.

At number ten, the Dhurandhar title track continues to hold its place with its loud, high-energy sound. With vocals by Shashwat Sachdev, Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas and others, the track still packs a punch.



Moving further up the list, Chhaap Tilak from Ginny Weds Sunny 2 climbs to number eleven. Sung by Heer and Paradox, and composed by Heer and Amaan Noor, the song blends a familiar sufi touch with a more modern sound.

There’s also a new entry on the chart this week, Tu Hi Disda from Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla debuts at number twelve. Sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi, the track features Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi in a soft, scenic romantic setup, giving it an easy, breezy feel.

Another Dhurandhar: The Revenge song, Jaan Se Guzarte Hain, also makes its way onto the chart this week at number fourteen. Sung by Khan Saab and written by Irshad Kamil, the song carries a more emotional and rooted sound.


We also have another new entry in the form of Khwaab Dekhoon from Ek Din. The song brings together Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, and is sung by Arijit Singh and Tarannum Malik Jain. With music by Ram Sampath and lyrics by Irshad Kamil, it adds a softer romantic note to the week’s list.

Further down, Tere Ishk Mein has moved up two spots this week. Sung by Arijit Singh, composed by A.R. Rahman, and written by Irshad Kamil, the heartbreak track continues to stay among the more replayed songs.

And finally, wrapping up the list are Ishq Jalakar from Dhurandhar and Ek Din’s title track, which land at numbers 19 and 20 respectively.
