    In an exciting East-meets-Punjab crossover, global K-pop star Jackson Wang and Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh have teamed up for a new single titled BUCK. The highly anticipated track is scheduled to release on May 9, and uniting two powerhouse performers from different corners of Asia for a one-of-a-kind collaboration.

    Jackson Wang, best known as a member of the popular South Korean boy group GOT7, has carved out a successful solo career with hits like 100 Ways and Blow. Blending pop, R&B, and hip-hop, the artist has gained a massive following across Asia, Europe, and North America. His creative approach and stage energy have made him a standout figure in the global music scene. Now, with BUCK, Jackson explores new musical territory alongside Diljit Dosanjh, one of India’s biggest stars.

    According to India Today, this project came to life after both Jackson and Diljit showed interest in working together. Helping make the collaboration happen are Kamal Shah, a Singapore-based associate of Jackson Wang, and Bunty Bahl, a prominent name in Bollywood and the Indian music scene. Adding to the excitement, Jackson Wang is expected to visit Mumbai on May 10 to promote BUCK. This will mark his second visit to India, and fans are already looking forward to his arrival.

    Who is Jackson Wang?

    Jackson Wang is a Hong Kong-born rapper, singer, and songwriter who first gained fame as a member of the South Korean boy band GOT7. Wang was once a competitive fencer before entering the music industry. He debuted with GOT7 in 2014 under JYP Entertainment.

    In 2017, Jackson launched his own record label, Team Wang, and later expanded it with a fashion line called Team Wang Design, where he also takes the role of creative director and lead designer. He began his solo music career with the album Mirrors in 2019. His second album, Magic Man, released in 2022. In 2021, Jackson parted ways with JYP Entertainment and went on to form a Chinese hip-hop group called Panthepack under his own label.
