Coldplay announces second show in Ahmedabad. And it's sold out already!

British music sensation Coldplay is all set to electrify India during their Music of the Spheres World Tour 2025. Initially scheduled to perform at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25, 2025, the band quickly announced a second show on January 26, following an overwhelming response. Tickets for the first concert, which went live earlier today, were sold out within minutes. The tickets for the newly added show became available on BookMyShow at 1 PM on Saturday and needless to say, they were sold out within minutes as well.

Coldplayannounced the new show with their followers on X, and wrote, “SECOND 2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED. The band will play a second show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 26 January 2025. Tickets on sale TODAY at 1PM IST.”

Ahead of the ticket launch, BookMyShow issued a stern warning about unauthorized ticket sales. In a note shared on Instagram, they stated, “Unauthorised platforms are listing tickets for Coldplay's Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025 in India, both before and after the official sale. These tickets are invalid. Ticket scalping is illegal in India and punishable by law. Please don't fall prey to scams. BookMyShow is the only official platform for ticket sales.”

In addition to the Ahmedabad concerts, Coldplay will also perform three shows in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. The tour promises to be a landmark moment for fans in India as Coldplay, comprising Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, gears up for their biggest concerts in the country to date. The virtual queues attracted millions of fans, leaving many disappointed as demand far exceeded supply.
