BTS icon Jin is ready to make waves again, this time with his second solo album titled “Echo." The album is set for worldwide release on May 16, 2025. The project follows the success of his debut solo album “Happy" which was released just six months ago.

According to a press statement, Echo aims to offer fans a deeper emotional connection, reflecting on universal human experiences with warmth and honesty. Built around rich live instrumentation and dynamic band sounds, the album showcases Jin’s expanded vocal range and mature artistic sensibilities. “Built on dynamic band sounds, the album showcases his versatile vocals across a spectrum of moods and styles. It reflects a deeper layer of vocal maturity and personal storytelling that underscores Jin’s evolving artistry,” the release adds.

While fans eagerly await the tracklist and teaser content, the announcement alone has sparked global buzz, trending across social media platforms and fan communities. Echo is expected to not only highlight Jin’s unique musical identity but also solidify his standing as a soloist beyond his BTS fame.

Outside of music, Jin has also been actively exploring the world of entertainment. He stars in Netflix’s Korean variety show “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” where he co-manages an unconventional guesthouse on Ulleungdo Island alongside popular Korean personalities Kian84 and Ji Ye-eun. His charm and spontaneity have made the show a hit among viewers, further broadening his appeal.

Jin, born Kim Seok-jin, has consistently impressed fans with solo tracks like “Awake,” “Epiphany,” and “Moon.” His 2022 collaboration with Coldplay on “The Astronaut” was a standout moment in his career. Most recently, he represented South Korea as a torchbearer in the Paris 2024 Olympic Torch Relay, highlighting his status as a cultural ambassador.
