Border 2 teaser out now: Sunny Deol returns in a patriotic avatar alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty

The makers of Border 2 dropped the film’s teaser on Tuesday at a grand event in Mumbai, giving us a first glimpse into the much-awaited war drama. The launch was held on Vijay Diwas, marking India’s victory in the 1971 war, making the moment even more special. Much like the 1997 classic Border, the teaser pays tribute to India’s defence forces and their bravery.

Sunny Deol makes a powerful return as the fearless son of Mother India. Riding high after the success of Gadar 2, the actor is back in his patriotic zone. The teaser opens with Sunny Deol’s strong voiceover, instantly setting the tone. Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty are seen in intense war sequences, while Sunny recreates an iconic moment from the first Border, carrying a heavy bomber gun on his shoulder. Along with action, the teaser also hints at the emotional side of the story, showing moments of love, family and sacrifice.

About the teaser launch event

The teaser launch itself was a spectacle. The venue was designed like a war zone, complete with trenches, bunkers and military-style setups, making guests feel like they had stepped into the world of Border 2. A museum-style display showcased original props from the film, including costumes and military gear, giving fans a closer look at the scale and effort behind the project. It was also the first time the entire cast shared the stage together, adding to the excitement.
