BLACKPINK is finally back together with their much-awaited DEADLINE World Tour, which started on July 5 with a power-packed show in Seoul. The group even surprised fans by performing their brand-new single, ‘JUMP,’ live for the very first time.

The stadium was full of energy as BLINKs sang along and danced to it. ‘JUMP’ has quick beats, addictive choreography, and a melodic chorus. ‘JUMP’ even has references of their iconic hit DDU-DU DDU-DU with the line “Bet you’re getting it now / Rock that DDU-DU DDU-DU now.”

While fans at the concert cheered loudly, fans online are giving it a mixed review. Some fans loved the rock-inspired sound, calling it fresh and fun, but many K-pop fans said ‘JUMP’ doesn’t feel like BLACKPINK’s usual style. Some even called it “a B-track” and said it lacked the group’s signature punch. While other fans loved the track and wrote, “1000/10. Come on now. They paved the way-of course they’d come back with a classic." Another praised the dance and stated, "CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW FUN BLACKPINK’S CHOREO FOR JUMP IS?" Still, some fans think the live version didn’t land well, and many believe the studio version will make up for it.

No matter what the online reaction is, fans are super happy to see Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé back together. They performed not just JUMP, but also fan favourites like ‘Kill This Love,’ ‘Pink Venom,’ ‘How You Like That,’ and ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU.’ Each member also had her own solo moment. Jisoo sang Earthquake, Rosé sang 3am, Lisa owned the stage with Rockstar, and Jennie performed Mantra, showing how much they’ve grown as artists during their solo runs. After their successful BORN PINK tour, Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé focused on their solo careers, launching their own labels.
