According to a report by Soompi, the label describes the upcoming group as “a next-generation creator crew that will express themselves in an entirely new way.” In a shift from traditional idol training systems, the members will reportedly be involved in every step of their artistry, from producing their own music to crafting choreography and visual content.
“Starting last year, the members proved their creative abilities by contributing to the production of music and performances by senior HYBE artists,” the agency stated. While BigHit has not yet revealed the group's name, line-up, or concept, the announcement has already sparked excitement and speculation among fans worldwide.
In addition to unveiling its plans for the new boy band, HYBE also reported impressive financial results for the first quarter of 2025. The company posted 500 billion won (approximately USD 349 million) in revenue, marking a 39% increase from the same period last year.
The second half of 2025 is expected to be especially significant for HYBE, as BTS prepares for a highly anticipated reunion. All seven members are set to complete their mandatory military service by July. While Jin and J-Hope have already returned and resumed solo activities, fans are eagerly awaiting the full group's comeback and potential announcement of a world tour.
