Asha Bhosle's death rumours: “It’s untrue” confirms son
In today’s world of internet and social media, fake news spreads very quickly. The latest example is about legendary ‘Piya Tu Ab To Aaja’ singer Asha Bhosle. A post on Facebook went viral claiming that Asha Bhosle had passed away, which left many fans shocked and worried. However, this news is completely false. Asha Bhosle’s son, Anand Bhosle has confirmed that the singer is alive and healthy. Fans can breathe easy knowing the iconic singer, who has given us so many evergreen songs like ‘Dum Maro Dum’, ‘Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko’, ‘Dil Cheez Kya Hai’, etc, is safe and doing well.

The rumours started when a Facebook user named Shabana Shaikh shared a photo of singer Asha Bhosle with a garland of flowers placed on it with a caption, "Famous singer Asha Bhosle passed away - a musical era ends (01 July 2025)." At the same time, another post made a similar claim and wrote, "Ham ne ek aor anmol kalakaar kho diye" (We lost another gem).
