Earlier this year, Armaan Malik had announced his wedding to longtime partner Aashna Shroff. While fans celebrated the news, it now seems the couple may have had a quiet registry ceremony as early as April last year, well before their public wedding festivities.

Now, the couple has given their fans a sweet little surprise. On Tuesday, Armaan and Aashna shared a joint post on Instagram, featuring never-before-seen pictures from their private “seal the deal” moment. The highlight of the carousel? A cheerful Amaal Malik, Armaan’s brother, happily posing with the newlyweds.

The album also includes Armaan’s parents, Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik, smiling alongside the couple. Armaan Malik and Aashna Shroff are seen in colour-coordinated outfits throughout the series of photographs, and the final image shows the couple sharing a kiss to mark the special day. Captioning the post, Armaan wrote, “A year since we sealed the deal.”

The post, however, comes in the wake of emotional revelations from Amaal Malik, who had officially distanced himself from the family just a month prior. In a now-deleted post shared in March, Amaal had written, "The journey has been terrific for both of us but the actions of my parents have been the reason we as brothers have gone too far from one another and all of this has made me step in for myself as it has left a very deep scar across my heart."

He added: "Through the last many years, they have left no opportunity to disturb my well-being and belittle all my friendships, my relationships, my mindset, my self-confidence. The journey has been terrific for both of us, but the actions of my parents have been the reason we as brothers have gone too far from one another."
