    A.R. Rahman to perform in Hyderabad after eight years

    Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is all set to perform in Hyderabad after eight years as a part of his “The Wonderment Tour.” The first show of this tour, which celebrated Rahman’s incredible musical journey, kicked off in Mumbai on May 3 with a nearly 50,000 audience.

    The Hyderabad concert will be a big stadium show at Ramoji Film City on November 8. Rahman last performed in the city eight years ago in 2017. Tickets will go on sale from July 14 and will be available on the District app by Zomato.

    Rahman's concert in Hyderabad aims to be more than just a live performance. The concert is designed to reflect Hyderabad’s cultural depth and diversity, and the show will blend high-energy numbers with emotional ballads across multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and English. Fans can expect to hear A.R. Rahman’s iconic hits like ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Lagaan,’ ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya,’ and ‘Urvashi Urvashi’, along with tracks such as ‘Kun Faya Kun,’ ‘Roja,’ ‘Uyire,’ and ‘Snehithudaa’.

    “The Wonderment Tour” marks 30 years of A.R. Rahman’s legacy on music. The concert will take fans through his famous Indian and international movie scores, favourite soundtracks, and some new songs too.

    Talking about the tour, Rahman said the show is for everyone who loves live music and the magic it brings. “I aspire to merge tradition with innovation, bridging the past and the future in a grand celebration of music,” he said.

    The Hyderabad concert is presented by Hyderabad Talkies along with EVA Live and Xora. Deepak Chaudhary, founder and MD of EVA Live, said, “We are thrilled to associate with A.R.
