Alex Warren has cutely responded to Drake after his song ‘Ordinary’ beat Drake’s ‘What Did I Miss?’ to take the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.

On Monday, July 14, Alex posted a funny video on Instagram stories where he was seen dancing to Drake’s track ‘Nokia’. He looked into the camera with a playful smile, grooving to the line, “Baby girl, let me see you do your dance, let me see you twirl.” Alex didn’t add any caption; he just tagged Drake. Though “Nokia” never reached No. 1 either. It just entered the chart at No. 10 in March and climbed to No. 2 in April.

This incident took place right after Drake shared his frustration over not debuting at the top of the Billboard. On his Instagram story, he wrote, “Suppressor on the 1 spot. I’m taking that soon, don’t worry, one song or another,” along with a screenshot showing his latest track ‘What Did I Miss?’ at No. 2, right below Alex's ‘Ordinary’.

Even though Drake missed the top spot this time, he still made history as ‘What Did I Miss?’ marks his 81st song to reach the top 10, the most by any artist ever. He also now has a total of 359 songs that have entered the Hot 100.

Meanwhile, Alex Warren’s ‘Ordinary’ is on a winning streak. The song has spent six weeks at No. 1 so far, replacing Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Manchild’ in late June. Listen to Alex Warren's 'Ordinary' on Gaana!

Alex is also keeping busy with new music. He recently released ‘On My Mind’ with ROSÉ, following his duet with Jelly Roll titled ‘Bloodline’. Both songs will feature on his upcoming album ‘You’ll Be Alright, Kid’, which will come out on Friday, July 18.
